1. Request for Proposal

For: Town of Clermont Town Hall A/C-Heat Pump
Location: 1795 Route 9 Clermont, NY
Contact: Raymond Staats (cell #845-417-6362)
Bid due date: July 1, 2023. Sealed bids may be submitted by hand to Raymond Staats, by mail or by hand to the Clermont Town Hall (1795 Route 9, Clermont, NY 12526) if Town Clerk is unavailable, place in ‘Court Drop Box’),

Project Description:

  1. The Contractor shall provide and install a 36K BTU ductless A/C system with a Heat pump. The system shall include one condenser located on the north side of building. One interior head to be mounted in the court room, and two additional heads mounted in the main hall.
  2. The contractor shall be responsible for Electrical hook up and all materials and labor required for system installation/operation.
  3. The contractor shall remove all debris from property and clean work areas upon completion.
  4. The contractor shall include with bid, specs, and models of equipment.

Notes:

The Contractor shall be required to comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to payment of prevailing wage as required by New York State.

The contractor shall provide proof of $1,000,000 liability insurance. The Contractor shall provide a proposed project schedule with the bid.

For: Town of Clermont Town Hall exterior painting
Location: 1795 Route 9 Clermont, NY

Project Description:

  1. The Contractor shall power-wash and scrape the building, removing all mildew, mold, and loose and flaking paint.
  2. The Contractor shall prime the entire building with an oil base primer.
  3. The Contractor shall paint the building with two coats of highest quality acrylic latex paint (colors to be provided by the Town of Clermont Building Committee, Dianne O’Neal, Chair), such as Sherwin Williams Duration or Benjamin Moore Aura, or the equivalent, to be approved by the Town of Clermont.
  4. Aluminum storm/screen windows shall be removed, and the wooden window sashes repaired, reglazed, and repainted as necessary. The aluminum storm/screen windows are to be replaced after repainting the wooden windows.

Notes:

The Contractor shall be required to comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to payment of prevailing wage as required by New York State.

The contractor shall provide proof of $1,000,000 liability insurance.

The Contractor shall provide a proposed project schedule with the bid.

  1. The contractor shall remove old drop ceiling light fixtures from the court room.
  2. The contractor shall provide and install new interior high output LED lighting fixtures in the drop ceiling of the court room.
  3. The contractor shall remove old lighting fixtures in main hall and install new high output LED surface mount fixtures.
  4. The contractor shall replace fixture in Clerk’s office and Building Inspector’s office with similar LED lighting fixtures.
  5. The contractor shall be responsible for Electrical hook up and all materials and labor required for installation.
  6. The contractor shall remove all debris from property and clean work areas upon completion.
